College Football Rankings: Auburn No. 1, TCU Receives First Place Vote In USA Today Coaches’ Poll
Stanford, with an easy win over Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl, and Ohio State, winners of the Sugar Bowl, rounded out the top-5.

There will be little disputing that Auburn is the No. 1 college football team in 2010 after topping the BCS Standings and winning the National Championship game over Oregon, but the AP voters did recognize TCU in the final college football rankings, giving the Horned Frogs three first place votes. This mean TCU leap-frogged (GET IT?) Oregon in the final standings, as the Ducks slide back to No. 3 in the AP poll, and earn zero first place votes. The final BCS Rankings are yet to be released, but they will likely have the same top 3.
Rounding out the college football rankings top 5 is Stanford at No. 4 following its huge win in the Orange Bowl, and Ohio State at No. 5 after beating Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl.
