Georgia DE Xzavier Dickson has chosen the Alabama Crimson Tide over the Georgia Bulldogs, the first commit to reveal his choice live during the Under Armour High School All-America Game. Dickson has spent the past week talking about making the decision on air via coin flip, as the two programs were neck-and-neck in his mind, but opted not to. Dickson:
Xzavier Dickson Chooses Alabama At Under Armour All-America Game, But Not By Coin Flip
They have a great coaching staff. The players they have around the program is good. I’m sure I’ll fit in just fine at their program.
Dickson is one of the nation’s top 150 players, according to Rivals. He’s a top-10 from the state of Georgia and the No. 3 weakside defensive end. He’d also had offers from a wide range of SEC and ACC schools, and was recruited to Bama by defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.
Dickson also mentioned preferring Young Jeezy to 2pac, because kids these days, am I right?
