Sunseri tossed the first passing touchdown of the game from either team with a strike to Brock DeCicco. In the first half, Sunseri had trotted into the end zone for Pitt’s other touchdown.
Kentucky, for its part, managed to finally find its way into the end zone. The drive was powered by an 18-yard rush-reverse by Randall Cobb. Kentucky’s offense has at last woken up, as the running game has produced 100 yards, and quarterback Morgan Newton has thrown for 124 yards.
Early in the fourth quarter, Pitt has the ball and the lead.
