Texas A&M Vs. Arkansas Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More

In a battle of former and future conference rivals, No. 18 Arkansas “hosts” No. 14 Texas A&M at Cowboys Stadium this Saturday.

The No. 18 Arkansas Razorbacks face off against the No. 14 Texas A&M Aggies in the third Southwest Classic in a neutral site game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday.

Designated the home team this week, Arkansas has won the first two Southwest Classics, which renewed the rivalry of the former Southwest Conference rivals, by a combined score of 71-36. Texas A&M will join Arkansas in the SEC beginning in 2012.

Despite losing Ryan Mallett to the NFL, the Razorbacks' passing offense ranks 18th nationally, with quarterback Tyler Wilson completing nearly 67 percent of his pass attempts for 1,007 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Senior wide receivers Joe Adams and Jarius Wright have combined for 36 receptions, 432 yards and four touchdowns. On the ground, Ronnie Wingo is averaging nearly five yards per carry, while 6-foot-2, 240-pound freshman Kody Walker has pounded in five touchdowns, helping the Razorbacks stay a perfect 15-of-15 inside the red zone.

The Aggies face a ranked opponent for the second consecutive week, blowing a 17-point halftime lead to the Oklahoma State Cowboys in College Station last week. Like the Razorbacks, the Aggies are possess a top-ranked passing attack, averaging over 310 yards through the air per game. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is coming off back-to-back 300+ yards passing games, and has a pair of touchdown passes in each of the Aggies' three games this season. Wide receivers Ryan Swope and Jeff Fuller have combined for 38 receptions for 474 yards and four touchdowns this season, with Swope topping 100 yards receiving on two occasions, including 105 yards last week against Oklahoma State.

Aggies linebacker Sean Porter leads the team with 23 tackles, including 5.5 for a loss and 3.5 quarterback sacks.
