Ohio State and Michigan State face each other on national television Saturday in a matchup of talented Big Ten teams who still have yet to find an identity.
Ohio State Vs. Michigan State Game Time, TV Schedule, Spread And More
Michigan State and Ohio State open Big 10 play on ABC in a matchup of two 3-1 teams who have yet to find themselves.
They’re both 3-1, they beat three relative pushovers and lost their most challenging game, and they’re probably the worst teams either school has had in years.
The Buckeyes will trot out freshman quarterback Braxton Miller, who carved up Colorado last week with his legs more than his arm. With the start of the Big Ten season on their doorstep, the Buckeyes have the chance to prove all the doubters wrong, or have their worst season in what seems like decades.
The Spartans were whipped by Notre Dame, and haven’t beaten any team as good as Colorado, which is saying something. They’ve feasted on Youngstown State, Florida Atlantic, and Central Michigan for their three wins, yet lost by 18 to the Fighting Irish. We still don’t know who they are, but chances are, they’re just slightly better than average.
Game date, time: 3:30 pm ET, Saturday, Oct. 1
Location: Ohio Stadium, Columbus, Ohio
TV channel: ABC, ESPN3
Spread: Ohio State favored by 3
Series history: Ohio State leads, 27-11
