Michigan Vs. Minnesota Score: Wolverines In Control Early, Michigan Leads 28-0

Here’s something you don’t see every day: Early in the second quarter, Michigan had almost ten times as much offense as Minnesota, 276 yards to 25. The results are pretty much what you might expect, with the Wolverines holding a 28-0 lead over the Golden Gophers.

Michigan was also rushing to the tune of 10 yards a pop, with gains on the ground including a 3-yard touchdown rush by running back Vincent Smith for the game's first points and a 9-yard scoring run for quarterback Denard Robinson, also in the first quarter. Smith then tossed a 17-yard touchdown to Davis Dileo in the second quarter, making the passing game for Michigan 9-of-9 for 110 yards.

Yeah, it’s been that kind of a day for the Gophers, who have managed just eight yards on seven carries. Take out the long carry of nine yards and -- let’s just say that doing math is a depressing endeavor for Minnesota fans right now.
