J.J. McDermott is 9-of-14 for 159 yards and two touchdowns so far, including a 71-yard touchdown strike to Terrance Wilkerson to put the Mustanges up 14-0. The first pass went to Darius Johnson for 13 yards.
The Mustangs already have 10 first downs to TCU's three. Meanwhile, Casey Pachall's first four completions gained just 15 yards for the Frogs, and SMU has outgained TCU 191-39 in total offense so far. TCU's longest play is a six-yard pass.
