At least it doesn’t count in the conference standings. Nevada can comfort itself with that after Boise defeated the Pack 30-10 in what amounts to a revenge game for the upset last year that knocked Boise State out of the BCS. That upset was the first time in a while that Nevada had managed to defeat Boise State -- a loss that often killed Nevada’s chances to make a move in the conference standings.

This year, at least for a season, Boise is in the Mountain West while Nevada is playing out its last season in the WAC before heading to the MWC. So the loss doesn’t mean anything in the conference standings, but a 20-point loss is still a 20-point loss. (And it was 30-0 in the fourth quarter before the Pack managed to dent the scoreboard.)
Kellen Moore's line -- 19-of-33 for 142 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions -- isn't exactly going to bolster his Heisman trophy case. But Doug Martin chipped in 130 yards and two more touchdowns on 22 carries. The Broncos defense also played its part, clamping down on Nevada to allow just 176 yards of total offense.
