By now, you've heard several hundred times that Baylor Bears quarterback Robert Griffin III has more touchdowns this year than he has incompletions. You should probably get used to it, since you're only going to hear it more and more as weeks go by.
Robert Griffin III’s Stats: Not Safe For Work
With 17 minutes to go against the Kansas St. Wildcats, Griffin has thrown five touchdowns and five incompletions in 26 attempts, giving him 18 touchdowns and 17 misses on the year. Today's primary stats partner: Kendall Wright, who has 200 yards and three of those scores.
And he’s yet to throw a pick this year. And he’s only been sacked twice. He’s fumbled the ball, though, so there’s something to work on.
Considering TCU’s struggles, K-State’s is likely the best defense Baylor’s going to face for quite a while. I say again, he’s put up 330 yards and a 14-yard scramble against them with an entire quarter left. And he’s going to keep slingin’, too, since it’s only a nine-point Baylor lead.
