Georgia Tech Vs. N.C. State Final Score: Jackets Win After Wild Fourth Quarter

After 800 combined yards of total offense on the game and a combined 45 points in the fourth quarter alone, Georgia Tech finally emerged as the winner of a barnburner against N.C. State in Raleigh.

Georgia Tech being a Paul Johnson team, the bulk of the Yellow Jackets' yards came on the ground -- Tech ran for 296 yards and three of its vie offensive touchdowns on 52 carries. Most of that came from Orwin Smith and David Sims. Each had nine carries for 74 and 73 yards, respectively, and Smith tacked on three touchdowns.

And N.C. State being a Tom O'Brien team, the Wolfpack were extraordinarily balanced -- 195 yards running, 192 yards passing. Mike Glennon was 20-of-29 for 163 yards, two touchdowns and interception. James Washington had 131 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
