Nebraska Vs. Wisconsin Score: Badgers Keep Answering Huskers, But Losing, 14-13, In 2nd Quarter

The Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Wisconsin Badgers seem determined to play a shootout in Madison on Saturday night. Wisconsin has answered back each time Nebraska has scored, but the Cornhuskers lead by one, 14-13.

After Montee Ball scored for the Badgers, Nebraska started its next drive on its own 26 yard line. A false start penalty and a holding flag pushed Nebraska back to its own 15 yard line, but Taylor Martinez found Quincy Enunwa for a 29-yard gain before the end of the first quarter. At the start of the second quarter, Martinez had an 11-yard run and a couple of passes, including a 28-yarder to Ben Cotton. That set up a one-yard touchdown run by Rex Burkhead.

However, the Badgers answered back on its next drive. Russell Wilson found Nick Toon on a leaping catch for 38 yards and then hooked up with Jared Abbrederis for a 14-yard gain. Wilson appeared to have a 22-yard touchdown run, but a holding call brought it back. Instead, Wilson hit Jacob Pedersen for a 28-yard gain. Montee Ball eventually found his way into the end zone for his second touchdown. However, a blocked extra point has the Badgers down, 14-13.
