Washington Vs. Utah Final Score: Keith Price, Chris Polk Lead Huskies To 31-14 Win

Not sure why Utah was such a heavy favorite heading into a Saturday night matchup with the Washington Huskies, but the bookmakers were way off this week. Led by Keith Price, the Huskies pounded the Utes, knocking quarterback Jordan Wynn out of the game and chewing up the Utah offense en route to a 31-14 win.

Utah turned the ball over five times -- many of which occurred in the red zone -- and the Huskies took advantage. Wynn and backup quarterback Jon Hayes each threw an interception, while Price was nearly flawless on the other side of the field, recovering from an early interception to lead Washington to victory.

Price completed 22 of 30 passes for 226 yards and three touchdowns to go along with the aforementioned interception. Jermaine Kearse, Devin Aguilar and Kasen Williams each caught touchdown passes in the win. Chris Polk didn’t find the end zone, but he did rush for 189 yards on 29 carries.

While Wynn and Hayes did combine to throw for 305 yards and two touchdowns, along with the two interceptions, the Utes ground game was missing in action. The Utah backs combined to rush for just 17 yards on 23 carries as the Washington defense clamped down on the run.

Utah fell to 2-2 with the loss while Washington improved to 4-1, with only a loss to Nebraska serving as a blemish on the Huskies’ record.
