Things were always going to be tough for the Ohio State Buckeyes this season, but the poor play and injury problems have been worrisome nonetheless. It appears that these problems just got a little bit worse for the Buckeyes, as they won't be getting one of their best defensive players back this year. According to CBS Sports college football reporter Bruce Feldman, via twitter, Ohio State defensive end Nathan Williams is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
Nathan Williams Injury Update: Ohio State Buckeyes Defensive End Reportedly Out For Season
As Feldman notes, Williams had a monster game against Michigan last season. Coming into the 2011 season, he was expected to be at or around All-Big Ten level for the Buckeyes. He picked up a knee injury in Ohio State's first game of the season against the Akron Zips, and is now not expected to recover from arthroscopic surgery in time to play again this season.
