Tajh Boyd Injury: Clemson QB Cleared To Practice
Boyd, who completed 16-of-26 passes for 283 yards, was hurt on Clemson's opening drive of the second half. He was injured when he was hit by a Boston College defender while completing a pass to tight end Dwayne Allen for five yards.
“It was a little scary,” he said. “If you look at it, it definitely could have gone a lot of different ways. But fortunately, it turned out in my favor.”
For the season, Boyd ranks first in the ACC in passing yards per game (290), total offense (310.3) and is second in touchdown passes (15) for the eighth- ranked Tigers. He has completed 119-of-194 passes for 15 touchdowns and just two interceptions. He ranks 14th in the nation in total offense and 16th in passing efficiency.
