Georgia Vs. Vanderbilt TV Schedule, Spread, Game Time And More

The Bulldogs look to make it five wins in a row when they head into Nashville to face Vanderbilt.

The Georgia Bulldogs are coming off four straight victories after dropping their first two games, and looking to make it five in a row against a struggling Vanderbilt Commodores team. Vanderbilt is coming off getting pounded by Alabama 34-0, but also bring in a bit of a quarterback controversy. SB Nation's Vanderbilt blog Anchor of Gold asks who should start at quarterback for the Commodores against the Bulldogs.

Clearly the two big losses, a solid showing against Bama for Jordan Rodgers and the fact that Larry Smith hasn't had a "show all the doubters" kind of game in our wins has a vocal contingent getting louder and louder calling for Rodgers to start.

While the Commodores are thinking about who should start at quarterback, the Bulldogs are thinking about bettering their SEC record to 4-1 and getting ready for their annual match up with the Florida Gators in Jacksonville. That means Georgia will need to be focused on the task at hand, and not look past the Commodores, says Kyle King of Dawg Sports.

A loss on Saturday would be disastrous, so what matters most, of course, is that the ‘Dawgs win. That said, how they win is important, too. With the open date on the horizon and the crucial stretch run looming, Georgia needs to do emphatically against Vanderbilt what the Athenians did not do at all in their last three games; namely, put an opponent away early.

Vanderbilt currently leads the nation in interceptions on defense with 14 in five games, so Georgia will want to get ahead early, but the Commodores will also likely create plenty of opportunities for the Vanderbilt offense.

Game date, time: 7:00 pm ET, Saturday, October 15th

Location: Vanderbilt Stadium, Nashville, TN

TV channel: ESPN3

Spread: Georgia favored by 9 1/2

Series history: Georgia leads 50-15-2
