LaMichael James Injury: Oregon Running Back Listed Atop Depth Chart

Despite suffering a dislocated shoulder last week, and hints that he wouldn’t go this weekend, there remains a possibility that LaMichael James could be on the field as the Oregon Ducks face the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday night. James left the Ducks’ Thursday night matchup after a gruesome elbow injury near the goalline.

Following the game, though, James was adamant he’d be fine, telling reporters he’d suffered the same injury in high school and played the next week. And as reporters entered the press box at Autzen Stadium, there was James’ name atop the depth chart.

UO two-deep distributed in the press box lists LaMichael James "or" Kenjon Barner starting at running back against ASU.

Remember this is Chip Kelly and he keeps things close to the vest. All week the Ducks have hinted James was out, but now it seems there’s a chance. We’ll find out more in a few hours as the Ducks and Sun Devils battle under the lights in Eugene.
