College Football TV Ratings Down: Time To Get Defensive

Hey man, nobody talks about college football like that!

↵↵The October 8 Air Force/Notre Dame game on NBC earned a paltry 1.1 and 1.587 million viewers, down 39% in ratings and 40% in viewership from NBC’s third Notre Dame telecast last year (STAN/ND: 1.8, 2.641M), and down 62% and 64%, respectively, from 2009 (WSH/ND: 2.9, 4.447M).

↵↵

Yeah well, yeah well, as you can see below, Washington Huskies football is 3.8 times bigger than Air Force Falcons football, on the Internet at least. Stanford Cardinal football is 2.6 times bigger. By that metric and last year's ratings, the numbers for Air Force-Notre Dame actually doesn't look bad at all. College football forever!
