Oklahoma State Vs. Missouri Final Score: Cowboys Clobber Tigers, 45-24

There was an ever-so-brief moment when it looked like Missouri might be able to make a game of it against Oklahoma State last week. The Tigers rallied from a 21-3 deficit to cut the lead to 24-17 at halftime. And that was about it.

The Cowboys scored 14 unanswered points in the third quarter to put the game all but out of reach, then decided to pour it on with a third touchdown as time was about to expire in the fourth. That was after a Missouri score that made things slightly more respectable, but only slightly, as the Cowboys take home a 45-24 win.

Brandon Weeden was Brandon Weeden, putting up a stat line of 33-of-49 for 338 yards, three touchdowns and one pick. Joseph Randle picked up the load on the ground after the Cowboys put up lackluster rushing numbers in the first half; Randle had 138 yards and three touchdowns -- all of them in the second half -- on 14 carries. That included a 59-yard touchdown run that first pushed the lead to 21.

And for those paying attention to the offensive explosion overall: The two fell just short of 1,000 yards, at 996 yards of total offense, with 53 combined first downs.
