Arkansas Vs. Mississippi Final Score: Razorbacks Storm Back For 29-24 Victory

Arkansas fell behind 17-0 on the road at Mississippi. Then the Razorbacks roared back, scored 29 straight points, and weathered a late Rebels comeback for a hard-won 29-24 win on the road.

Dennis Johnson ran for a career-best 160 yards and a touchdown in the win, making up for Tyler Wilson’s struggles (13 completions on 28 attempts) in the passing game. The Hogs clamped down on defense and revved up on offense in the second half, holding Mississippi to just one drive of more than 35 yards and putting up over 300 total yards.

The Rebels had a chance near the end of the game, drawing to within a possession after a touchdown with under two minutes to go and recovering an onside kick. But Randall Mackey took a sack and threw an interception immediately after the recovery, scuttling Ole Miss’ unlikely comeback attempt as suddenly as it began.
