Heralded Alabama Crimson Tide freshman offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio will see his season end due to a serious knee injury. He'll require a surgery to correct the setback. Alabama also announced backup linebacker Alex Watkins will be out for a couple weeks with a broken arm, knocking him out of the game against the LSU Tigers.
Cyrus Kouandjio Injury Ends Alabama Freshman’s Season

Kouandjio doesn't start, but coach Nick Saban touted the valuable depth he provides behind left tackle Barrett Jones, who's also been dinged up:
“Cyrus got a pretty significant knee injury that’s gonna require surgery. He’s probably gonna be out for the remainder of the season. Even though those two guys aren’t starters they’re guys that have made a lot of contribution especially to the depth of our team.”
That's two Kouandjio brothers who are done for the season -- Arie Kouandjio also had to have knee surgery earlier in the year.
