Darron Thomas took a seat on the sideline after the half as Bryan Bennett came on to lead the Oregon Ducks to a 43-28 win over the Washington State Cougars. Thomas struggled throughout the first half, throwing two interceptions -- one of which was returned for a touchdown -- as the Oregon offense stumbled.

Bennett looked sharp in the second half, and was aided by the play of De’Anthony Thomas. The sensational freshman caught a touchdown pass and returned a kick for a touchdown, providing the x-factor for the Ducks once again. Bennett completed just four passes in the second half, but threw for 88 yards and two touchdowns. Kenjon Barner rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown to lead the way on the ground.
Marshall Lobbestael threw for 337 yards and a touchdown for Washington State, but threw two back-breaking interceptions in the red zone in the first half. Carl Winston led the way on the ground with 69 yards, and Rickey Galvin rushed for a touchdown. Jared Karstetter and Marquess Wilson were each over 100 yards receiving.
