Utah QB Jordan Wynn Out 2-3 Weeks With Shoulder Injury

The Utah football team will be without starting QB Jordan Wynn for 2-3 weeks while he recovers from a shoulder injury.

The Utah Utes will be without starting quarterback Jordan Wynn for two to three weeks as he recovers from a left shoulder injury suffered against the Washington Huskies last Saturday. The injury is to his non-throwing arm.

The school announced that he will be re-evaluated at the end of that time period to determine if he's ready to return. In his place, junior Jon Hays will assume starting duties. Hays played the entire second half of last week's loss to Washington after Wynn left the game.

Hays was 10-of-16 for 156 yards with a touchdown. The Butte College transfer had only thrown one pass all season prior to the Washington game.

Wynn is 66-of-116 for 727 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. He threw for 2,334 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Utes last season.

Utah is now 2-2, 0-2 in the Pac-12.
