Oregon Vs. Cal: LaMichael James And De’Anthony Thomas Carry Ducks

After a California field goal to put the game at 7-6, the Oregon Ducks got the ball back and began to drive down the football field. Oregon went for it on 4th and 1 on the drive, converting on a LaMichael James 3-yard run. On the very next play, quarterback Darron Thomas was sacked and fumbled for a loss of 10 yards.

Ten yards is nothing however, when you've got LaMichael James in the backfield. James burst through the Bears defense for 47 yards on the very next play. Two plays later, De'Anthony Thomas scampered to the left side for 17-yards and a touchdown to put Oregon up 14-6. Cal better start scoring touchdowns.
