Kirk Ferentz and the new look Iowa Hawkeyes open up Big 10 play with a trip Beaver Stadium to take on the Penn State Nittany Lions and Joe Paterno. Penn State looks to get some revenge for the last decade, as they've beaten Iowa just one time since 2000. It won't be the same Iowa team they're used to seeing, however. Since late in the second half of the Pittsburgh game, Iowa has run a ton of no-huddle offense rather than their typical power running game to utilize quarterback James Vandenberg and their surprising litany of talented wide receivers, led by Marvin McNutt.

Penn State on the other hand stumbles in off a tough victory over Indiana, looking to knock off Iowa. Iowa's knocked Penn State out of impressive undefeated starts a few times recently. Led by quarterback Matthew McGloin since the loss to Alabama, they'll look to feed wide receiver Derek Moye, who on the season is averaging 17.0 yards per catch. Penn State's offense has struggled against the likes of Temple and Alabama.
