LSU Vs. Florida Final Score: Tigers Romp In Baton Rouge, 41-11

LSU dispatched Florida in convincing fashion in Tiger Stadium on Saturday, 41-11 and did so despite the traditional weirdness of a game involving Les Miles going almost entirely against the Tigers.

The fake punt for a touchdown by Brad Wing? Called back for an excessive celebration penalty. The blocked punt by the Gators' Solomon Patton? Too little, too late to swing the outcome. The receiver who went out of bounds and still caught a touchdown pass? Florida's Andre Debose. Heck, LSU even got its revenge for Tim Tebow's old jump pass, with Jordan Jefferson running it to perfection for a touchdown late in the game.

Truly, this was dominance by LSU, which rolled up 454 yards of total offense, splitting it evenly between the running game (239 yards) and the passing game (215), and held Florida to 213 yards of total offense.

Florida was hamstrung on offense, starting freshman Jacoby Brissett after injuries to John Brantley and Jeff Driskel forced both quarterbacks to watch this one, but the Tigers still limited them, keeping Chris Rainey in check and intercepting two Brissett passes. 12 Florida penalties for 89 yards didn't help, either.

With the win, LSU moves to 6-0 and 3-0 in the SEC. Florida falls to 4-2 and 2-2 in conference, and the Gators’ withering October schedule only gets worse with a date at Auburn next week.
