Kansas State Vs. Missouri Final Score: Wildcats Stay Perfect, 24-17

Kansas State just keeps winning. One week after coming back against Baylor, the Wildcats held off Missouri for a 24-17 win that kept their record blemish-free.

Kansas State built a 24-3 lead early in the fourth quarter, then held on after Missouri scored the game’s last 14 points, running out the game with a clock-killing drive. Colin Klein threw for just 112 yards and an interception, but ran for three touchdowns, and Wildcats running back John Hubert had 126 yards on the ground.

Missouri couldn’t compete with the Wildcats’ chain-moving, time-hogging running game. The Tigers went just four for 13 on third down, and held the ball for just over 20 minutes as a result; that wasn’t enough time for James Franklin (216 yards passing, one rushing touchdown) to score points for Mizzou.

The Wildcats are now 5-0 and 2-0 in Big 12 play. Missouri falls to 2-3 and 0-2 in the Big 12.
