On the Versus pregame show ahead of Stanford-Colorado, an esteemed analyst had the following to say about the gameplan for the Buffaloes (paraphrased).
Making Andrew Luck Throw Isn’t In Colorado’s Best Interest
"I know this is gonna sound crazy, but make them one dimensional. Stack the box and make Andrew Luck throw."
This would be a good time to remind everyone that Jon Embree suspended four defensive backs this week. It would also be a great time to remember a running back and wide receiver saw significant time in the defensive backfield against Washington State last week. Finally, Washington State quarterback Marshall Lobbestael, who is nowhere near Luck in terms of ability, threw for threw for 376 yards against the Buffaloes.
But by all means, make Andrew Luck throw. I’d love to see that horror show.
