Currently Texas Tech trails Texas A&M 38-30, but at the moment that doesn't matter. Texas Tech running back Eric Stephens was having a great night, eclipsing 100 yards already by the third quarter. On Texas Tech's last scoring drive however, Stephens went down with a gruesome left knee injury.
Eric Stephens Injury: Texas Tech Running Back Carted Off With Knee Injury
Stephens went down as he took a helmet to his left knee and it went a way it shouldn’t. Stephens was carted off the field in an injury that looks like it’s done for the season. If you did not see the injury, you may recall an injury Willias McGahee suffered while he was at the University of Miami. People across twitter have compared Stepens’ injury to McGahee’s. When more is know about his injury, SB Nation will update you. It doesn’t look good, though.
