Vanderbilt Vs. Alabama Final Score: Crimson Tide Recovers From Slow Start For 34-0 Victory

After a slow start to the game, the Alabama Crimson Tide turned on the burners in the second half and picked up a 34-0 shutout over the Vanderbilt Commodores. A.J. McCarron and Trent Richardson combined to score Alabama's five touchdowns.

McCarron had the Crimson Tide up by two touchdowns at halftime, but that wasn't the end of his offensive performance. He came up with touchdown strikes of 17 and 39 yards over the final two quarters, finishing the game with 23 completions on 30 attempts and 237 yards. Marquis Maze caught nine passes for 93 yards.

Running back Trent Richardson also found a groove in the second half. He completed the game with 107 yards on 19 carries. He punched the ball in at the one-yard line for a score in the third quarter.

Alabama (6-0) heads to Oxford, Miss., next week for a match with the Ole Miss Rebels.
