Baylor Bears quarterback Robert Griffin III did something tonight he has not done during the entire season. He completed less than 74 percent of his passes. Griffin III helped the Bears roll over the Iowa State Cyclones through the air and on the ground, racking up over 300 total yards of offense. Griffin passed for 212 yards and ran for another 100 yards on the night. Baylor running back Terrance Ganaway had a great night toting the rock, gaining 200 yards on 23 carries, including three rushing touchdowns.
Iowa State Vs. Baylor Final Score: Bears Take Down Cyclones 49-26
Iowa State struck first, on a Steele Jantz touchdown pass but Baylor was able to immediately answer. Once again the Cyclones marched down the field and scored on another Steele Jantz touchdown, but after that it was all Baylor. Baylor went on to score four straight touchdowns before the Cyclones could notch anymore points on the board, and by then it was already too late. Jantz ended the day with 242 yards passing and three touchdowns, but the Bears offense led by Griffin III was just too much for the Cyclones defense.
Baylor moves to 4-1 and 1-1 in the Big 12 while Iowa State falls to 4-2 and 0-2 in the Big 12.
