Virginia Tech Vs. Georgia Tech Final Score: Tech-Off Goes To The Hokies
In a see-saw battle, the Virginia Tech Hokies were on the right side of the playground ride, scoring ten points in the fourth quarter to down Georgia Tech on Thursday night, 37-26. It was a game that followed a pattern: one team dominated one quarter, then the roles were reversed. While Georgia Tech had the first and third quarters, Virginia Tech took the second and fourth, the former of which played a key part in its win.
Virginia Tech put up 21 points in the second to head into the half with an eight-point lead. In the third, Georgia Tech reclaimed on two one-yard Tevin Washington touchdowns. But Virginia Tech battled back, taking the lead on a touchdown late in the third quarter. And over the final 15 minutes, the Hokies added another ten points, turning the one-point lead into an 11-point win on Thursday night.

It was another explosive display by the Houston offense as the Cougars broke out of a slump in the second quarter to throttle the Green Wave. Case Keenum was his usual self, throwing for 324 yards and three touchdowns before taking the rest of the night off before the third quarter came to a close. Cotton Turner hopped into the mix and kept the ball rolling, throwing for 113 yards and a touchdown. Even Crawford Jones completed his only pass, though it went for just five yards.
