The Oklahoma State Cowboys nearly did the unthinkable, go an entire quarter without scoring. Luckily however, the Cowboys defense put them on the board when Shaun Lewis picked off Iowa State quarterback Jared Barnett. Lewis returned the interception for a touchdown to put Okie State up 7-0.

A few drives later, Okie State was able to put some more points on the board in the form of a Quinn Sharp 29-yard field goal. On the scoring drive, quarterback Brandon Weedon completed six straight passes. Okie State's offense was slow to get started, but it looks like it's starting to get things into gear. If Iowa State hopes for the upset however, they can't let the Okie defense score.
