Oregon’s offense hasn’t gotten a whole lot going either, putting up 33 yards before reaching a fourth-and-eight conversion attempt in USC turf. The effort resulted in a dropped screen pass, and we might be looking at another of those slow starts by the Ducks.

It all starts with Arik Armstead of Pleasant Grove High in Elk Grove, CA. Some have called this offensive/defensive lineman the best prospect in the country. Others regard him as merely one of the better prospects in America. Still, everyone agrees Armstead is a great prospect. At 6-foot-7 and 280 pounds, Armstead wants to play defensive line, but his greatest future earning potential is at offensive tackle. His athleticism is quite impressive for a big man.
Armstead holds offers from just about every program in the country and Oregon will be rolling out the red carpet.
