Auburn Recruiting: Official Alabama Game Visitors

Auburn is welcoming a great crop of talent to the plains Saturday.

The Iron Bowl has long helped to decide the fate of the elite recruits in Alabama, as the Crimson Tide travels to Auburn to face the Tigers. Auburn will host many top recruits Saturday, and while War Eagle is a huge underdog at home, the Tigers have plenty to offer. And even if Auburn loses, recruits will see that the Tigers have plenty of playing time to offer.

There are some huge names headed to the plains.

Eddie Goldman is the top defensive tackle in the country. Out of Friendship Academy in Washington, DC, Goldman is a beast at 6’4” and 310 pounds. He’s considering Auburn, Florida State and Alabama. It’s thought that he favors the ‘Noles and the Tide, but Auburn can never be counted out.

Equally as impressive in the eyes of most is Arik Armstead of Pleasant Grove, California. The massive offensive tackle prospect (6’8” 280’) holds offers from every school in the country. It’s a big deal that Armstead is making a cross-country visit.

Also making the trip is athlete Cyrus Jones of Baltimore’s Gilman High School. The 5’10” speedster is an Alabama lead, and Auburn would like nothing more than to sign him come February.

Massive guard Evan Boehm of Lee's Summit Missouri is also making the trip. Boehm recently decommitted from his hometown Missouri Tigers.

Trying to convince them to pledge War Eagle will be current Auburn commitments Cassanova McKinzy, Gilem President, Will Latu and T.Y. Yeldon.
