The Boise State Broncos lead the Wyoming Cowboys, 22-7 in the third quarter in Boise. The Broncos entered the game favored by 32.5 points over their bowl eligible border opponent but have struggled to pull away after a quiet first quarter. The Cowboys even took a 7-0 lead after Kellen Moore threw a pick six on Boise's first possession.
Boise State Vs. Wyoming Score Update: Broncos Offense Back On Track After Quiet First Half
Wyoming would hold that lead for most of the first half until the quick strike Boise offense we're accustomed to put the Broncos back on track at the end of the second quarter. With just over a minute remaining in the first half, Doug Martin would punch it in from the two yard line for BSU's first score of the day. The Bronco defense would force a quick three and out, getting the ball back with just eight seconds remaining. That was plenty of time, however, as Moore hit Matt Miller for a 46 yard touchdown. A missed extra point gave Boise the 13-6 halftime lead.
In the third quarter, Boise and Moore ratcheted up the offense again, adding a field goal and ten yard touchdown pass to Kyle Efaw for a fifteen point lead. They're not quite at the 32.5 point margin set by the oddsmakers, but Boise's offense appears to be rolling again after a sluggish first half.
