Robert Griffin III Injury: Baylor Quarterback Out With Possible Head Injury

Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III finished out the first half, but appears to be done for the day after suffering an apparent head injury. Griffin III was hit hard and appeared to be dazed late in the second quarter, but it was only after halftime that the symptoms forced him from the game.

Griffin was seen on the sideline in a ballcap coming out of the half. His helmet was taken away, which would appear to be a sign of a head injury. Additionally, the Baylor coaching staff burned the redshirt of quarterback Nick Florence, which would also seem to be a sign Griffin III is done for the day.

Baylor holds a slim lead over Texas Tech, 31-28, but without Griffin III, all bets are off. We’ll be back with more as it becomes available.
