Army-Navy Game 2011 Score: Kriss Proctor Drives Middies To First Lead

The Navy Midshipmen took the first lead of the 2011 Army-Navy Game on a Kriss Proctor scoring plunge. The four-yarder completed a six-play, 26-yard drive and gave the Middies quarterback 39 yards on 11 efforts so far. At the end of the first, it's 7-0 in favor of Navy.

The Army Black Knights are losing because quarterback Trent Steelman attempted a pass. This may not be true, but his team is losing, so you do the math. Navy's dominated the clock, converting three of four first downs.

President Barack Obama joined uncles Verne and Gary in the booth for the scoring drive, proclaiming the Illinois Fighting Illini to be his former favorite college football team. He's too busy for college football on Saturdays these days, you see. Otherwise, Gary Danielson has been fascinated by Army's insistence on going inside while Navy seeks the edges.
