Capital One Bowl 2012: Cornhuskers Taking Business-Like Approach

After losing to the Washington Huskies in the 2011 Holiday Bowl, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are focusing on football as they prepare to face the South Carolina Gamecocks in the 2012 Capital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

"I don't want to say we overlooked (Washington) last year," senior safety Austin Cassidy said, "but the same excitement, I guess, probably wasn't there that we have this year."

Two of Cassidy’s teammates may have legal matters on their minds when they head to Orlando later this month.

On Sunday, defensive end Eric Martin was cited for suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident and failing to furnish information after allegedly backing into another car and causing $2,000 damage on Saturday night. Starting center Mike Caputo was cited for suspicion of driving under the influence after police found him sleeping in the driver's seat of a running vehicle.
