Carroll College will be gunning for its 7th NAIA National Championship on Saturday when they take on Saint Xavier in Barron Stadium. This won’t be the first time the two teams have met, either. Saint Xavier took on Carroll last season in the semi-finals travelling to Montana. Carroll came away with the 27-5 win on the road to their sixth NAIA Championship.

Carroll College will be gunning for it’s 7th NAIA National Championship on Saturday when it takes on Saint Xavier in Barron Stadium.
Running back Chance Demarais will lead the way for Carroll, the nation's No. 1 running back. "You want to put the ball in your best player's hands and Chance Demarais, right now, along with (wide receiver) Matt Ritter, are our best offensive players. So whether it's the passing game setting up the run or the running setting up the pass, it makes no difference," Carroll head coach Mike Van Diest said about their offense.
Saint Xavier on the other hand will be looking to avoid a repeat of last year’s match up. “For us to move the ball and get first downs and keep our defense off the field and fresh is going to be really important, especially early in the game,” first year quarterback Jimmy Coy said. Saint Xavier will be looking to pick up their first ever NAIA Championship making the game for the first time in history. They’ll have their hands full with Carroll, who has plenty of NAIA Championship game experience.
Game Time: Saturday, December 17th at 4:30 p.m. ET
