PHOTO: Wisconsin’s Possible Rose Bowl Jerseys, Now With More Roses

Last year, the TCU Horned Frogs dressed for the Granddaddy in style, giving their blood-gushing helmet logo a rose to nibble on. This time around, the Wisconsin Badgers, who lost to those Frogs, are set to wear some sort of flower-powered unis of their own, which have yet to be unveiled.

OR HAVE THEY?

Wisconsin’s said nothing official yet, but there’s an image of a jersey with petal-patterned numbers. This comes from FootballFanatics.com, which claims it’s based on the real deal:

Your Badgers are gearing up for the latest installment of the Rose Bowl - make sure you're prepared to cheer them all the way to a win in official team style with this replica jersey from adidas! Designed to mimic the jerseys Wisconsin will wear when they face off against the Oregon Ducks on January 2nd, 2012, this jersey features printed player number (with a special rose-petaled texture) and Rose Bowl logo graphics.

Not entirely opposed to this, but, if it is a real thing, just hoping it doesn’t become a trend that spreads to the Pizza Bowl.
