Traditionally, the Georgia Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks open their SEC slates against each other. That's not happening this year, to Carolina's dismay -- the thinking on UGA's part is that extra prep games will mean for fewer Gamecocks upsets, but not quite sure how they pulled this one off.

Also, fun fact, by the end of 2012 the Dawgs will have gone 22 weeks without facing the SEC West’s big three of Alabama, LSU and Arkansas. Larry Munson will still find plenty to fret about from Heaven here, though, including the lack of a bye before Florida:
