Signs are starting to point to Baylor Bears Heisman-winning quarterback Robert Griffin III declaring for the 2012 NFL Draft. Among the latest notes on the matter is this from Tony Pauline of SI.com, who reports RG3's stance is shifting toward a pro turn:

Tony Pauline@TonyPauline Said on 12/22 things could change and they have- hearing Robert Griffin III had a change of heart and leaning towards entering the draft.

With USC Trojans quarterback Matt Barkley sticking around, next year's market for quarterbacks makes Griffin a potential top-five pick. It's hard to imagine him falling out of the top 10. He's shown he's capable of turning a team of underdogs into a conference contendor, which any NFL team in position to be drafting early on should be excited about.

The Alamo Bowl against the Washington Huskies could be Griffin's last game at Baylor.
