Taylor Graham Transferring From Ohio State To Hawaii

Backup Ohio State quarterback Taylor Graham will reported join Norm Chow in Hawaii.

Hawaii brought in Norm Chow largely because of his reputation for working with high-quality offenses. Just a few weeks into his tenure, it’s already paying off as Ohio State quarterback Taylor Graham is apparently preparing to transfer to Hawaii.

This news is coming out of multiple fronts. Doug Lesmerises of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported the news on Twitter and the Honolulu Star Advertiser also reported it. The Star Advertiser did add the caveat that this is a dead period so that any move is clearly not yet final, but all signs do seem to point to this going down.

The big issue for Graham, who was a red-shirt freshman this year, was apparently his desire to play in a pro-style offense, something he wouldn’t be doing under Urban Meyer at Ohio State. Graham had not yet played for the Buckeyes and will have to sit out the 2012 season because of the transfer.

For more insight into Graham, be sure to check out Ohio State blog Along the Olentangy.
