There might be only good good reason to tune into the 2011 Alamo Bowl between Washington and No. 12 Baylor, but it's a pretty darn good reason: Robert Griffin III. Making this virtual must-see television is the very real possibility that this could be Griffin's final college game as he weighs the possibility of skipping his final year of eligibility and joining the NFL.

The Alamo Bowl may not be the most competitive game, but Baylor and Washington seem poised to score points by the bushel load.
A good performance on the national stage couldn’t hurt those chances and the Huskies seem to be the kind of team poised to allow a big game. Griffin, who won the Heisman Trophy after passing for nearly 4,000 yards and being among the leaders in almost every passing category, will face a defense that allowed 33.3 points per game. The Huskies were particularly bad down the stretch, as they allowed at least 21 points in each of their final seven games and giving up at least 30 seven different times this year.
If the Huskies have any chance, it will almost certainly be on the strength of their offense. Quarterback Keith Price quietly had a strong season, passing for 2,625 yards, tossing 29 touchdowns and compiling a QB rating of 157.9. Running back Chris Polk wasn't shabby either, rushing for 1,341 yards and scoring 15 touchdowns.
Although the Bears scored 43.5 points per game on offense, their defense wasn’t nearly as impressive. Their scoring defense ranked 109th in the nation -- even worse than Washington -- after allowing 35.7 points per game. They allowed at least 40 points four times this season.
