We’re pretty sure Robert Griffin III scored three more touchdowns on the way to the locker room following Baylor’s 48-24 win over Texas on Saturday. A week after suffering an apparent concussion and sitting out the second half in a win over Texas Tech, Griffin was back and explosive as always. By the time it was all over, Griffin account for four of the Bears touchdown in the route.
Baylor Vs. Texas Final Score: Robert Griffin III Leads Bears To 48-24 Victory
Griffin III did it on the ground and through the air, rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for two more. He finished with 291 yards through the air, on 13-of-19 passes, and two touchdowns to just one interception. Griffin III’s efforts through the air were supplemented by Terrance Ganaway’s 153 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Kendall Wright and Terrance Williams each caught touchdown passes, as well.
Perhaps lost in the shuffle is the day Case McCoy had. The yardage was there -- 24-of-39 for 353 yards and three touchdowns -- but so were the mistakes. McCoy finished with four interceptions, balancing out the positives in his performance.
