LSU Team Store Hacked: Alabama Takes Over Website

UPDATE: Not hacked! Human error.

The LSU Team Store looked a little bit different on Sunday night, just hours after the BCS Championship matchup was announced. There will be a rematch, of course, with LSU set to face Alabama for the top prize in college football. So why not get the smack talk and back-and-forth jabs started early?

If this was Alabama’s first shot, it’s going to be hard to top it. On Sunday night, the website for the LSU Team Store had a decidedly different look and feel. The purple background was still there, as was the banner headline advertising BCS Championship gear, but something looked ... off.

Oh, right: Everything was replaced by Alabama gear, colors and branding. It would appear someone hacked the LSU Team Store website. We’re not going to point fingers, but you can draw your own conclusion from the screen caps.
