An incredible 10 out of the 12 teams in the Big Ten have accepted bids to bowl games. Two of those teams, the Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan Wolverines, have been given bids to BCS bowls. Six out of their ten bowl appearances will be in January bowls.
Bowl Games 2011-2012: Big Ten Receives Ten Bowl Bids, Two BCS Bids
An incredible 10 teams from the B1G will be making bowl game appearances, with Wisconsin and Michigan representing the conference in the BCS.
Purdue makes the B1G’s first bowl game appearance on Dec. 27. Michigan plays in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 3, the last bowl game featuring a Big Ten team.

Capitol One Bowl: Jan. 2, 1:00 p.m. ET
Outback Bowl: Jan. 2, 1:00 p.m. ET
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Michigan State Spartans
Rose Bowl: Jan. 2, 5:00 p.m. ET

Sugar Bowl: Jan. 3, 8:30 p.m. ET
