6A: Seffner Armwood To Face Miami Central For State Title

Florida’s 6A title will be decided by a battle between Seffner Armwood and Miami Central, next week in Orlando’s Citrus Bowl.

Armwood defeated Bartram Trail and Tennessee quarterback commitment Nathan Peterman, 46-38. Peterman threw for more than 300 yards, but with those yards came four costly interceptions. Armwood’s Leon McQuay had a huge game, with multiple tackles and forced turnovers.

The Central Rockets defeated Daytona Mainland, 17-7. It was an ugly, sloppy game that featured three missed field goals.
