Yesterday, Cyrus Kouandjio picked Auburn in a televised commitment decision. Then he backed off, and seemed to be waffling between Auburn and Alabama. Now, it’s going to take some time for Kouandjio to come to a conclusion — and Iowa is back in the mix.
Cyrus Kouandjio Will Not Commit Before Friday, Has Iowa In The Mix With Auburn And Alabama
Kouandjio’s father tells the Tuscaloosa News that things are up in the air:
“If he makes a decision today, you will have it tomorrow in the morning,” Jean Claude Kouandjio, the father, said. “He’s still confused. We keep talking with him, I don’t think he’s ready yet. He’s the one that who wants more time.”
...
“He’s deciding between Alabama, Auburn and even Iowa,” Jean Claude Kouandjio said. “It may even come back to Iowa. He’s considering his options even more now. Those three (schools) have been floating in his mind”
This is a total bummer for New Mexico’s Mike Locksley, who was totally waiting for Kouandjio to make his Lobos a three-win team.
