Cyrus Kouandjio Signs With Alabama After Extended Recruitment, Auburn Commitment

Finally, Cyrus Kouandjio has decided on a college. And it’s Alabama.

Kouandjio committed to Auburn on National Signing Day, but never faxed his Letter of Intent to the Tigers; that left the door open for a change of heart, which Kouandjio has apparently had.

Kouandjio had considered a strange set of schools, including New Mexico and Iowa, both before and after his commitment to Auburn. And he was supposed to announce his commitment on Monday.

But this commitment seems like a final one, according to Scout’s Andrew Bone:

Cyrus Kouandjio signs letter of intent with Alabama. Arie posted the news on Twitter. @kristenkenney was informed earlier. It is official.Kouandjio may be the best offensive line prospect in this year’s class. He has great size and could round into a dominant offensive tackle, especially with the talent and coaches around him at Alabama.
